Criffel Station is so much more than a standalone Wanaka events venue. Our numerous exclusive locations and experienced events team bring superb high country hospitality to events of all kinds including Special Occasions, Meetings & Conferences or Health & Wellness, capacity ranging from 5 to 500 attendees.

Additionally, we have an extensive range of items available for hire including tables with rustic wooden table tops, seats for up to 170 guests, beautiful props and numerous giant lawn games.

Meetings and Conferences

Criffel Station sits in the foothills of the Pisa mountain range and provides a beautiful and transformative setting for your next business meeting or event. We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Wanaka CBD and we’re just down the street from the Wanaka airport, approximately one kilometre. Our main venue is the Criffel Station Woolshed. Its versatile indoor/outdoor configuration makes it ideal for customising the venue to fit your event needs. Whether you’re planning an intensive strategic meeting, a large corporate meeting, a business conference, workshops or a team building retreat, the Woolshed’s flexibility ensures the space can be configured to your specific needs so that your team or group is comfortable and able to perform at their best.

Capacity:

The Criffel Station Woolshed can hold from as little as an intimate meeting of 10 guests to as many as 150 guests for a product launch or presentation style meeting.

The team at Criffel Station work with a select group of catering services that we bring in based on the type of event and needs. Together we ensure that all your food and beverage needs are well provided for so you don’t have to worry about it.

Technology and Display:

With 15 years’ experience delivering events of every nature, we are well equipped to meet all your tech, electrical, video, presentation, and display needs. We only work with the best and partner with experts who always deliver no matter the challenge or request.

Outdoor Venues:

Our extensive on-site facilities, in addition to The Criffel Station Woolshed, include our outdoor venues – Stone Hut Terrace, Kanuka Grove and Pin Oaks or Henry’s Hut, an intimate high-country cabin. These venues feature a mix of stunning settings and views spanning from Roy’s Peak to Lake Hawea, and capacity ranging from 5 to 500 attendees. Our event planning team can work with you on how to use our outdoor settings to put on a highly professional, impressive event.

Optional Considerations:

Our Faculty – Criffel Station partners with a select group of professional coaches and experts from diverse fields. We refer to this group as Our Faculty, who can provide team building / team bonding experiences.
