Terrace Parking – Arrival & Check-In Information

Criffel Station, together with the NZMCA, is proud to host terrace parking and viewing for Warbirds Over Wānaka.

This is a working farm and a live event, with moving vehicles, people and aircraft overhead. Our volunteer team will guide you through arrival, check-in and parking to keep things safe, flowing smoothly, and stress-free – so you can relax and enjoy a great weekend.

Please take a moment to read the information below before you arrive.

Arrival & Check-In Process

All arrivals follow the same process on your specific check-in day.

Arrival into the Check-In Paddock
You will be guided into the check-in paddock using signage, a site map, and directions from our team. Please drive slowly and follow instructions.

Ticket & Booking Check-In
The Criffel Station team will check your ticket and confirm your booking. Please remain in your vehicle during check-in – the team will come to you.
Have your ticket and details ready (printed or digital). A quick checklist is included in the FAQs below.

Guided Movement Up the Hill
Once checked in, vehicles will be directed up the hill in a controlled flow.

Parking & Onward Direction
Parking and directing staff will guide you to your parking area.

This process helps keep traffic moving safely and ensures everyone gets settled as smoothly as possible.

Parking & Vehicle Movement

Once parked, vehicles must remain stationary for the duration of the event.

  • All parking is final once you are directed into your space

  • Access and emergency lanes must remain clear at all times

  • No re-entry – once a vehicle leaves the farm, it cannot return

Vehicle check-out is from 12.00pm on Sunday, or earlier in the event of an emergency.
If an emergency arises, please speak to the lead volunteer – do not move vehicles without direction.

By parking at Criffel Station, you agree to follow our Code of Conduct, which helps keep everyone safe, protects the land, and ensures all guests can relax and enjoy the weekend.

We’re here to support a great experience – thank you for respecting our team, the farm, and each other.
