Logan Lore are health, performance and survival specialists. Director and lead instructor, Ben Logan is an elite athlete and has worked with some of the world’s best athletes and military personnel. He has a deep passion for human optimisation and performance. Ben is supported by Dr Greg Emerson is Logan Lore’s Director of Medical, a trained senior emergency physician with extensive wilderness survival skills expertise.

The Program

Designed specifically for business leaders and managers, participants of the Logan Lore at Criffel program will learn resilience and develop a stronger, more agile mindset. Through engaging in bushcraft and team survival challenges, outdoor team pursuits and more, we connect each participant to the land, to each other and to their strongest self. You leave with increased decision-making skills and team coherency

What To Expect

Each program is tailored to suit your team and individual requirements. All programs include:

  • Freshly prepared local food served on The Station or in one of three venues: Pin Oaks – The Shed, Woolshed or at Henry’s Hut (a renovated musterers hut overlooking the whole of Lake Wanaka)
  • Activities on Criffel Station such as navigation tasks, team survival challenges, bushcraft and more.
  • A full gear list provided in advance.

Skills & Fitness Requirements

Anyone can attend the Logan Lore at Criffel program. As with any program that involves the outdoors, we recommend having a base level of fitness in place but can tailor our programs to suit the individuals and teams attending.

As a working farm, Criffel Station operates under strict OSH requirements and as an existing tourism operator is compliant with tourism regulations also. Logan Lore has outdoor instruction training, hold relevant first aid and survival certificates and is trained to manage all risks present.
