Welcome to Criffel Station. Come and experience life on an authentic family-run working deer farm. Meet our friendly alpacas, feed the sheep and visit our majestic deer as they graze, with stunning panoramic views and interactive farm yard. A visit to Criffel Station is an experience not to be missed!

Farm Tour – 1.5 hours


Get close to our friendly animals and have an opportunity to feed them. They love having their photo taken too! Enjoy an informative and hands-on introduction to deer farming, beekeeping and authentic Kiwi farm life. Join your guide on a fun, interactive tour of one of New Zealand’s rugged and historic high country stations. Enjoy a complimentary hot drink and a biscuit while browsing our farm shop.

After your personalized farm tour, take the opportunity to join the host for high tea. Enjoy a stroll through our beautiful gardens and join us for a traditional high tea in the homestead. The tranquil gardens offer panoramic mountain views, giving you chance to capture that perfect Kodak moment.
